After breezing to victory in the Long Distance Hurdle, he was expected to have a tougher assignment at Ascot in the Long Walk, with up-and-coming star Dynaste set to give him a battle. However, when David Pipe's runner went for home, Big Buck's was merely cajoled by Ruby Walsh and he stormed past him to win convincingly to cement his place at the head of the market.

Oscar Whisky was a clear-cut winner at Cheltenham's International meeting and if stepped up to three miles will be an intriguing contender for the staying crown, whilst Morgiana Hurdle winner Thousand Stars is another who could step up in trip and will be an exciting new staying recruit should Willie Mullins elect to send the grey down that route.
